Reform of the Italian Data Protection Code

On September 4, 2018, the Legislative Decree 101/2018 which emends the Italian Data Protection Code in order to comply with GDPR has been published on the Official Journal. The amendments shall take effect on 19th of September 2018.

Under the Legislative Decree 101/2018, the Italian Data Protection Code will be comply with the GDPR’ accountability principle.
